Mary J Blige
Regardless of Mary J Blige’s ups and down’s in her personal life and music career she still manages to keep afloat with her recordings. Stronger With Each Tear is another Mary J Blige classic. Its a shame as some reviews have disrespected some of her material vocally, where as Soul Discoveries loves every Mary J record.
Its apart of the parcel, the not so good with the great are all apart of the Mary J Blige music world. Fans may put down some of her older work and even some of her new work, but she is still Mary J Blige singing about love, life and drama at its purest and finest. Sure, there are worser singers out there than MJB.
Her production keeps getting better. With hit songs like The One feat. Drake. Then, the catchy and pop infectious I Am is also another strong Mary J Blige joint. Stronger With Each Tear is a good listen lyrically and the beats compliment the stories. Mary j Blige the queen of hip-hop soul is back with Stronger With Each Tear, possibly one of her best current albums to date.
Track list: Tonight, The One feat. Drake, Said And Done, Good Love feat. T.I, I Feel Good, I Am, Each Tear, I Love U (Yes I Du), We Got Hood Love feat. Trey Songz, Kitchen, In The Morning and Color (From The Motion Picture Precious).

. Joonie - Well, I’m a Singer, Writer, Producer, Storyteller, Musician & Wiz Kid.
02. Soul Discoveries - Who have you been working with? And what projects are you creating?
. Joonie – I’ve been putting a lot of time lately into my very 1st album, set to drop soon entitled, Acoustic Love. I’ve been working with HitClub Entertainment and my company Wiz Kid Music to shed light on this project full of raw, pure, genuine love songs and more.
03. Soul Discoveries - Talk a bit about your previous work in music and the music business?
. Joonie – I’ve done musical work, touring and production on artists such as Elliott Yamin, Warren G, Ruben Studdard, Nappy Roots and unreleased vocal collaborations with Mos Def and Angie Stone. I’ve also done music for movies such as “I do I did” as well as “7eventy 5ive”, which will be hitting big screen soon.
04. Soul Discoveries - What are you currently listening to at the moment?
. Joonie – Honestly, I’ve been listening to Nat “King” Cole. I’ve definitely been inspired by his swag in his approach to music.
05. Soul Discoveries – Who would you recommend I check out that isn’t around in the U.K?
. Joonie - Joonie.
. Joonie – I’ve found my writing to be inspired by different emotions but for the most part the songs I write are inspired by the fantasy of having perfect love. Sunshine is actually what I’d like to call a timeless love song which was actually written awhile ago by myself and a friend by the name of Nicholas “Dre Promise”. Its one of those songs that I started with a music melody, simple hook and filled in the blanks with the verses speaking about how much this woman is worth.
07. Soul Discoveries – Are you looking forward to attending the atlanta soul music summit this year?
. Joonie – I’m definitely going to try to attend the atlanta soul music summit this year. I’m all about supporting events that create a fun and learning environment for fans and artists alike.

. Joonie – Its definitely a journey. I’m really adamant about getting what I hear in my head out exactly the way I hear it which can take time and even be draining however, I like to have fun in the process.
